Strategic Plan Committee Meeting

Attendees: Julie Babington, Keith Becherer, Venessa Brown, Wai Cheah, Rhonda Comrie, Jaci DeClue, Nathalia Garcia, Carol Gentry, Bev George, Chris Gordon, Dave Heth, Paul Rose, Tim Schoenecker, Jerry Weinberg, Ken Witt, Erik Zimmerman
Absent: Kim Durr, Lydia Jackson
The meeting was held in Founders Hall 2300.
The meeting began with the Committee approving the minutes from 1/11/13.
The Mission Statement Writing Sub-Committee reported that they have met and are continuing to incorporate suggestions and polish the language. They will have their recommendation by the next meeting.
The Vision Statement Writing Sub-Committee brought their first draft to the meeting. After the entire Committee further discussed some minor changes, the Sub-Committee took the suggestions under consideration. They will also have their submission ready by the next meeting.
The Committee then continued work on the Values section. The following additional statements were recommended:
Paul will post the working list of Values on the Discussion Forum for all members to review in preparation for the next meeting. The group members all agree that a great deal of progress has been made on this section.
Next meeting: Friday, February 8 at 2 p.m., Founders Hall 2300 (same room).
