Springfest is the longest running annual event on campus. This event features such traditions as a giant banana split in a canoe, an outdoor activities fair, and cougar karaoke. Each year features a different theme which is accompanied by themed events. This year's theme is "Welcome to the Jungle"! Monday, April 18
*Banner Competition - At 8am, Student organizations will be allowed to pick up their banner to decorate. Banners must incorporate the SpringFest theme and their organization name. Banners will be due to the Kimmel Student Involvement Center Front Desk by 2PM on Tuesday!
Kickoff/Preview (10am – 2pm) Stratton Quadrangle - Enjoy a tasty treat and learn more about the upcoming weeks of events and our promo items in the Quad.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens (7:30pm) Woodland Bowl - Come out to our FREE showing of the latest edition of the Star Wars series. Popcorn and lemon shake – ups will be provided. Bring blankets and/or lawn chairs to be comfortable! (In case of inclement weather the event will take place in the Meridian Ballroom.)
Tuesday, April 19
*Hot Dog Eating Contest 12pm Stratton Quadrangle: Watch members of the student organizations go at it to win the Hot Dog Eating Championship Belt!
*Scavenger Hunt (3pm) - As a part of our Spirit Contest, student organizations will race across campus to complete our list of tasks.
Wednesday, April 20
*Student Organization Fair (11am – 2pm) Stratton Quadrangle - Support and learn more about our student organizations by purchasing homemade goods and picking up their promotions. There will be live music from up and coming artist Rebecca Moreland!
Giant Banana Split: Co – sponsored by The Bank of Edwardsville (12pm) Stratton Quadrangle - The Bank OF Edwardsville and the Campus Activities Board co – sponsor this delicious annual tradition. Come grab a FREE banana split in a canoe!
*Minute to Win it Games (12pm) - Student Organizations will compete in a series of minute to win it competitions as a part of the Spirit Contest
Softball Tailgate (3pm) Cougar Field
Glow Run 5k (8pm) The RecPlex - CAB and Campus Recreation are inviting you to the Second Glow Run. Run through our Glow in the Dark course starting at the Rec Plex. Register on IMLEAGUES.COM. There will be a limited number of t-shirts available for SIUe students and Glow in the Dark glasses and wristbands.
Thursday, April 21
*Student Organization Fair (11am – 2pm) Stratton Quadrangle - Join all the student organizations in the quad again for games, giveaways, and great food!
*Lip Sync Competition (12pm) Stratton Quadrangle - Groups from our student organizations will rock the stage in this spirit contest competition. The top 4 performers will battle “Jimmy Fallon” style in the final round!
Jay Pharoah (7:30pm) Meridian Ballroom - SNL cast member Jay Pharoah will perform on stage at our Meridian Ballroom in an unforgettable show. Tickets can be purchased on Ticketreturn.com or at the MUC Information Desk. Tickets are $10.

Woodland Hall’s Woodstock (1pm – 4pm) Woodland Bowl - Woodland Hall will celebrate the end of the year with this annual event. There will be Music, food, games, inflatable, and more! This event is Free and open to all!
