What is this?
-Free Interactive Scavenger Hunt where all of the clues and answers are conducted through text messages.
Who can participate?
-All students can participate. (It is recommended that you have unlimited text messaging as there are nearly 50 questions in this hunt).
When does this take place?
This hunt begins at 8am on Monday August 23, 2010 and will end at noon on Friday, September 3, 2010. Students can start and finish at anytime throughout this 2 week time frame.
Why should I participate?
There are FREE prizes throughout the hunt along with grand prizes which include gift cards to Best Buy.
Getting Started: (Unleash the Possibilities…)
1) Text SIUE to 728647
2) You should receive a team name, remember this name. A clue should be received 20-30 seconds after you have registered.
3) Reply with your answer to move onto your next clue.
You can also download the free SCVNGR App for Iphone and Droid phones. Just download the app and then click the "Treks" tab at the top. Look for "Unleash the Possibilities" and click it. That will take you to the different challenges by building.

Most questions will require you to visit a location. Some questions will just ask you a question to complete.
The winner will be notified by text message no later than September 7, 2010.
The purpose of this adventure is to explore the campus and become familiar with what this campus has to offer. Some locations are further than others but the whole adventure will be worth the hunt.
