SIUE students are encouraged to invite not only siblings, but also cousins, neighbors, or even friends that you love like a sibling. Activities are best suited for children and teenagers age 7 to 17. How do I register?
All attendees (with the exception of the enrolled SIUE student) will pay a registration fee. The fee for non-SIUE students is $15 which includes a t-shirt, access to all events (except the City Museum Trip...that is available for an extra $10 charge), and a $10 meal pass. You may complete an online registration form by clicking here. All registrations must be received no later than Friday, January 18, 2008. . Where do lil' sibs stay while they are visiting SIUE?
Guests of our SIUE students stay with their sibling or guardian in their on-campus residential communities or in the personal residences of our off-campus students. Visitors over the age of 13 who say with a student in University Housing should bring a form of identification (school ID). Who is responsible?
Each SIUE student is responsible for those visiting and will be held accountable for their actions and the actions of their guests. The SIUE student will be required to sign a liability waiver upon registration. If the SIUE student is under the age of 18, the parent or guardian of the visitor must complete a liability waiver prior to registration (please email Michelle King at mking@siue.edu to receive the waiver). Waivers will be available at registration if the parent will be dropping off the child. Where do lil' sibs eat while visiting?
Each registered participant will receive a $10 meal card to be used in the Center Court dining area. Snacks will be provided at many activities throughout the weekend. The purchase of additional food will be the responsibility of each participant. What if my lil' sib wants to bring a friend with them to Lil' Sibs Weekend?
We welcome all who want to attend! When your sibling registers online, just register the friend(s) at the same time. Each SIUE student may register up to three siblings or visitors. Individuals with more than three siblings should email astonec@siue.edu to make special arrangements. |
