vLeader Leadership Training
COURSE DESCRIPTION
| SIUE introduces Virtual Leader to its line-up of Project Management training programs. Program Structure Program Description
The core of vLeader training is that effective leadership balances three key functions in different situations: 1) power or influence, 2) ideas, and 3) tension. Using these together in varying degrees and in various ways, leaders achieve their primary objective of getting the important work done as efficiently as possible. As you practice each of the scenarios in vLeader, you will find it necessary to use these three functions in ways that make sense given the situation, the people with whom you interact, and your objectives. The vLeader simulator is supported by a workbook that clearly explains the program and guides you through each scenario. The simulator allows you to repeat each scenario as many times as you need to deeply grasp and master each concept. It provides you with a safe, private environment in which to try out different leadership strategies, and provides you with immediate and extensive feedback after each practice session so that you are able to readily understand what works and what doesn’t. The vLeader simulator can be accessed from anywhere 24/7 to fit your schedule. Program Facilitation Required Equipment – Desktop or laptop computer and Headset with microphone Computer Specifications

INDIVIDUAL COURSE CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
The SIUE Executive Education division of the School of Business reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course when necessary. If we cancel or postpone a course for any reason, you may choose to receive a FULL refund or apply the course fee to a subsequent offering of the same or a similar course. The latter option may be exercised within one calendar year of the original course.
If you register and pay for a course and then withdraw one week or more before the start date of the course, a full refund of the course fee less an administrative fee of $50 will be made.
If cancellation occurs less than one week before the start date of the course, no refund of the course fee will be made; however, at the discretion of the Director of Executive Education Programs, the course fee may be applied to a subsequent offering of the same or similar course with a course fee that is at least equal to the cost of the original course. If the course fee of a subsequent course exceeds the amount paid for the original course, the difference in the course fee amounts must be paid in full prior to the start of the subsequent course. An approved substitution must occur within one calendar year of the original course.
