Denise Cobb, PhD, SIUE provost and vice chancellor of academic affairs.The Southern Illinois University Board of Trustees today approved the appointment of Denise Cobb, PhD, as SIUE provost and vice chancellor for Academic Affairs, during its regularly scheduled meeting on the Carbondale campus.

The Southern Illinois University Board of Trustees today approved a five percent tuition increase for all new and continuing undergraduate students at SIUE, effective fall 2017. The board met on the Edwardsville campus.

Tuition for the 2017-18 Academic Year will result in a $420 increase over last year for newly entering, undergraduates on the Edwardsville campus.

The Southern Illinois University Board of Trustees today approved fee-related changes for the Edwardsville campus for the fall and spring terms of the 2017-18 academic year. The changes made during the board’s meeting on the Edwardsville campus included housing occupancy rates and the student fees for Information Technology, Textbook Rental and Intercollegiate Athletics.
