Phase 1 - Primary Documents: Due mid-September

• International Exchange Student Admission Application - Please fill in this form on your computer, then print
• International Exchange Student Financial Form - Please fill in this form on your computer, then print
• Exchange Student DS2019 Request Form - Please handwrite this form very neatly! This information will be used to create your visa.
• Copy of Student's Passport - Please provide with the primary paperwork

Phase 2 - Secondary Documents: Please complete as soon as possible after primary documents have been submitted

• Apply for Housing
  • You must complete this after receiving your SIUE ID from our office
  • This is an interactive application
  • Before you can apply, you must register for an account on the Housing website. Register here.
  • You will receive a password via e-mail after you have registered. Use this password and the e-mail account you registered with to begin the housing application.
  • The class status of undergraduate exchange students for application purposes is JUNIOR
  • Please contact Cyndi Peterson with any questions
  • You need a MasterCard or VISA Credit Card to pay the Housing deposit if you use the online Housing application. If you don't have a MasterCard or VISA, please contact Cyndi Peterson.

• Please provide your travel itinerary and information here

Phase 4 - Required 3 to 4 weeks before arrival

• Payment is required
  • Estimate of University fees
• Sign up for e-ID
• Access CougarNet
• Verify that your registration is correct
