Cyndi joined the SIUE School of Business International Program on May 1, 2004. She administers events such as International Business Week, promotes participation in our programs to SIUE faculty and students, and manages inbound exchanges for visiting scholars from our partner institutions.
Cyndi has over 13 years of experience working in the field of international education in the SIU system. Prior to joining us, she directed an English as a Second Language program at Southern Illinois University Carbondale's location in Niigata, Japan, where she lived and taught for 5 years. From 1992 to 1995, Cyndi taught English as a Second Language and conducted research for International Students and Scholars regarding international student awareness and use of support services at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC). She then administered diversity training and appreciation programs at the Office of Cultural Enrichment at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint Johns University in central Minnesota. In addition to international education, Cyndi’s professional experience includes handling public relations at the American Red Cross in downtown Los Angeles and marketing data, voice, and video communications services in eastern Texas. Cyndi enjoys traveling, gardening, dancing, and hiking and is an avid supporter of the arts and museums.

Nicole joined the School of Business International Program in May of 2009. Her main responsibilities include website development, promoting School of Business International Program, account management, attending and preparing for the international and University fairs, and assisting both American students and international exchange students studying abroad with the SIUE School of Business. Nicole is majoring in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resource Management at SIUE and has participated in the travel study to Budapest, Hungary. She has also traveled to France.
