Construction Leadership Institute
The Construction Leadership Institute is an executive education program which provides participants with the opportunity to broaden their perspective and to learn quickly what would take many years of experience to gain.  Participants become a part of a network among contractors, subcontractors, owners, and industry experts the ability to develop competencies for leadership, planning, and management . The Construction Leadership Institute is specifically designed for individuals employed by or working with general contractors or specialty contractors who hold titles or aspire to hold titles, such as: President, Vice-President, Chief-Operating officer, Branch Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Chief-Financial Officer.


Office of Economic Education and Business Research
The Office of Economic Education and Business Research serves several purposes. As a resource for improving the understanding and teaching of economics, the Office is a leader in the development of courses and materials for use by teachers in the grades K-12.  We have conducted a number of workshops and seminars on economic education that improve the delivery and content of economics courses for K-12 classes.  Another focus of the Office is to provide up-to-date information and analysis of business and economic trends. The Office also assists local schools with developing and maintaining economic education programs.


Project Management Workshops
The Project Management Workshops provide the St. Louis area’s most exciting executive education program for project management practitioners.  Curriculum is developed by a steering committee of seasoned project management professionals with focus on lessons learned and best practices.  Instruction is provided by an exceptional team of project management professionals from diverse industries and expert university educators. 

School of Business Symposia
The SIUE School of Business Symposia provide a forum for business decision-makers in the St. Louis metropolitan area to exchange ideas and knowledge with peers, School of Business faculty, and area experts on complex management issues.

Beginning in 1998, SIUE School of Business has hosted a series of one-day programs that provide a venue for sharing knowledge and ideas on a myriad of challenging issues.  These forums give participants an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the issues confronting them, and encourage the development of innovative approaches to finding solutions.  Symposia topics for the last several years have been devoted to examining project management issues.
