Most of these places are in the Central West End, a short drive or long walk west of Saint Louis University (and if you are staying at the Parkway Hotel, anything in the Central West End—CWE below—is walkable and within a short distance). Places one can walk to from the Busch Student Center are termed close or not far from SLU. If you are staying at the Water Tower Inn, all of these restaurants are a very short car or taxi ride, especially anything in the Central West End, Tower Grove, Soulard, or Lafayette Square neighborhoods (CWE, TGR, SLD, and LSQ below). The Hill is the Italian neighborhood, between Tower Grove and the Central West End. Clayton is a suburban-urban neighborhood (and county) that borders Saint Louis on the west side (just behind Washington University).
