Office of Assessment
The Office of Assessment oversees and participates in many institution-wide assessments. These examples provide an overview of some of the assessment activities in which this office currently engages. Please contact the Director of Assessment, or link to SIUE’s AQIP systems portfolio for more extensive information on program, school, college, and University assessments.
Graduates are surveyed at each University commencement ceremony. The survey includes two or three questions about students' experience at SIUE. These “marching card survey” results are then communicated to the University via e-mail and through official reports.
Surveys are mailed to all SIUE graduates one year after graduation. This survey cycle also includes mailing to alumni who are five years and nine years past graduation dates. Alumni surveys are conducted in conjunction with SIUE's Office of Institutional Research.
