Qwizdom Remote

The Office of Assessment is working with a University-wide instant response system ("Clickers") committee to utilize and evaluate this technology across campus.

The members of this group include:

  • Greg Bartholomew - School of Engineering
  • Ann Emmanuel - Information Technology Services
  • Allison Fahsl – School of Education
  • Linda Forbringer – School of Education
  • Jessica Hinz - School of Dental Medicine
  • Larry LaFond – College of Arts and Sciences
  • Frank Lyerla – School of Nursing
  • Laura Million - Information Technology Services
  • Dennis O’Connor - School of Engineering
  • Tim Ozcan - School of Business
  • Binod Pokhrel – School of Education
  • Vicki Scott - Office of Assessment
  • Matt Schmitz - Information Technology Services
  • Christy Spivey - School of Business

Members of the committee are available to attend faculty and department meetings to demonstrate the Qwizdom clickers in either a quick, 10-minute demonstration or a more in-depth presentation. Those wanting presentations may contact the committee members directly.

The Office of Assessment is sponsoring a hands-on "Advanced Clicker Workshop" on Friday, February 27.  Presenters will be Dr. Vicki Scott, Director of Assessment, and Binod Pokhrel, Technology Specialist for the School of Education.  Participants will bring a USB drive with a PowerPoint lecture on it.  They will be shown how to convert that lecture into a Clicker presentation.

Unfortunately, this workshop is full, but another one will be offered in Fall 2009.
