Office of Assessment
Welcome to the Office of Assessment web site. At SIUE, the Office of Assessment oversees university-wide assessments, AQIP, program reviews, and the Undergraduate Research Academy.
The Office of Assessment, in conjunction with the Committee on Assessment, is responsible for overseeing the New Freshmen Seminar, General Education (midpoint), Senior Assignment and reporting the results to the Curriculum Council and the Provost.
Additional assessments vary each year, as coordinated by the Director of Assessment.
Please feel free to explore this web site and see some of the university-wide initiatives coordinated through this office. Many programs conduct additional -- and extensive--assessment as recommended by their accrediting bodies.
