Dr. Connie Frey Spurlock:
Dr. Frey Spurlock was SIUE's first Sustainability Fellow and her leadership as a fellow changed the footprint of SIUE forever.

Connie Meridian Scholarship Winner

Dr. Frey Spurlock, along with Dr. Sorin Nastasia from Applied Communicaiton Studies,
received a Meridan Award for her project, "Save the Gardens: A Faculty Guided
Student Effort Towards an Awareness Campaign."

Connie Engagement Winner Dr. Frey Spurlock was also recognized for her sustainability activism on campus. 
She receive the prestitious SIUE Community Engagement Faculty/Staff Award for 2016-2017.

Dr. Sandra Weissinger


Dr. Weissinger's book just came out: Violence Against Black Bodies

Dr. Weissinger was named executive Board member of Magdalene St. Louis

Dr. Weissinger received a grant to study changes towards achieving racial equality since the Forward Through Ferguson report came out.
