Southern Illinois University Edwardsville does not have a Pre-Law major or minor. The University does, however, offer advisement for College of Arts and Sciences students interested in going on to law school.
You may be considered a Pre-Law student if you intend to pursue a law degree after completing your undergraduate degree. Students of all majors within the College of Arts and Sciences are welcome to take advantage of the Pre-Law Advising Program. It is designed to provide assistance and support to students as they consider the possibility of attending law school, progress through the application process, and prepare for law school.
Individual appointments to meet with Dr. Brian M. Harward, the Pre-Law advisor, may be made throughout the academic year. Dr. Harward is in Room 3227 of Peck Hall and is available via e-mail at bharwar@siue.edu. Pre-Law office hours will be held regularly as well. Please check Dr. Harward’s office door for this term’s office hours for Pre-Law advising.
