The 2010 colloquy of the American Weil Society will be held April 23-24, 2010 at Boston College. The theme of the colloquy will be ‘Simone Weil: Texts and Contexts.’ We are especially looking for papers that will concentrate on and discuss a short text, perhaps complete in itself such as a letter or notebook entry, or part of a larger text. The theme is meant to open up possible ways of treating Weil’s thinking, and is not meant to be restrictive. As usual, all proposals will be entertained.
