All students in the program are required to enroll in 2 of the 3 credit hour courses listed below.
• ‘Islamic Aesthetics’ (PHIL 390 TS1 / CRN 22936)
• ‘Islam and Modernity’ (PHIL 390 TS2 / CRN 22937)
** The PHIL 390 courses offered fulfill FAH distribution requirements.
*** All of these courses qualify for credit toward the Religious Studies minor.

Because of the unique nature of this Summer Travel Study Program, a broad array of assignment options are given to the students in order that they can maximize their own personal benefit from the program (e.g., by tailoring their projects to match their own major and/or career objectives) as well as to encourage creativity.
