Museum Internships and URCA Opportunities

Faculty members in this program have a wide variety of research projects in which students can receive hands-on experience in methodologies for studying Native American topics. These projects include activities such as working with archival documents, conducting fieldwork in contemporary Native communities, learning to use high tech sound and video equipment, handling and analyzing museum artifacts and processing artifacts found at an archaeological excavation. Students in this program may qualify for museum internships and/or URCA Fellowships under Native American Studies faculty mentorship.
