Music Faculty

Adam Anello

Office: Dunham Hall Rm 1104

Adam is an active teacher and free lance musician in the St. Louis area. He is a member of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and the Metropolitan Orchestra of St. Louis, as well as a substitute musician for the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Memphis symphony orchestras.

Adam has performed as guest principal bass for the Royal Northern Sinfonia in Gateshead, England and the Heartland Festival Orchestra in central Illinois. Adam has performed chamber music with the Gesher Music festival as well as Chamber Project St. Louis. He participated in summer festivals such as the National Repertory Orchestra, Music Academy of the West and Domaine Forget. 

Adam received his bachelors degree from the New England Conservatory and his Masters degree from Boston University. After completing his Masters Adam was given a three year fellowship with the New World Symphony in Miami Beach. Adam's primary teachers were Lawrence Wolfe and Edwin Barker. He is currently on faculty at the University of Southern Illinois Edwardsville and the Community Music School of Webster University.
