SYLLABUS

This course will be based on The Norton Anthology of American Literature. Most readings will also be available from Internet sources. The first class session will meet on September 21. Holidays will cancel classes on November 9 and December 14. Midterm results are due November 15. The last class session will meet on December 21. A date for the final exam will be decided later.
