SIUe Museum Studies Student Projects
Museum Studies students are engaged in a variety of projects in their classes and as internships. Students have curated exhibitions at the William and Florence Schmidt Art Gallery at Southwestern Illinois College, the Belleville Museum of Labor and Industry, and throughout SIUE various galleries.
Students also work on a variety of class projects as part of their assignments. Some examples include:
Creating exhibition scripts for permanent galleries at Glen Carbon History MuseumInterns receive class credit for 150-hours of work at an institution under the supervision of paid staff and the Museum Studies Program Director.
