Visiting Artists & Lecturers

  • Visiting lecturers and artists bring new perspectives and insights to students that help spur creativity.
  • Master classes, demonstrations and lectures offer students opportunities to interact with outstanding role models in their academic fields.
  • Departments annually submit requests for assistance to bring lecturers or artists to campus as enrichment programs that complement the campus curriculum.

  • The College of Arts and Sciences currently has the following recurring lectureships that would welcome alumni, parent, and community support:

- Fritz Marti Lectureship in Philosophy

- William J. Probst Memorial Lectureship in Chemistry

- Rayhill J. Hagist Lectureship in Biology

- William C. Shaw Memorial Lectureship in Physics

Bringing a visiting artist or lecturer to campus requires a commitment of between $2,500 - $5,000.
