Undergraduate Majors & Minors: Undergraduates are mentored in the Geography department by faculty; students receive advising from the advising staff in the College of Arts and Sciences. Geography mentors provide guidance about courses, areas of specialization, and career paths. CAS advisors assist students with educational requirements, graduation checks, and course registration.
All new Geography majors must meet with Dr. Susan Hume before the end of their first semester as a declared major. Students pursuing Social Science certification minors are advised by Dr. James Hanlon. CAS General Advising will provide students with their registration PIN's and track progress toward graduation.
