The SIUE Spanish Summer Day Camp is offered and taught by faculty of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature to promote intercultural awareness and foreign language learning in our community.
In this Spanish Summer Camp, students will engage in a wide range of exciting educational and recreational activities that will develop their communication skills in Spanish. They will be able to ask and answer questions, learn vocabulary, and comprehend spoken Spanish through context about everyday topics. We will emphasize the communicative and interactive approach to the teaching of foreign languages.
Spanish language teaching is tailored to learners ages 6 through 12. Campers are divided in two groups: elementary and middle school.
