Research Interests:
My overall research centers on the mechanistic understandings of organic and biology-related reactions employing mechanistic analysis methodologies. Current research include (i) structure-reactivity-mechanism relationship for hydride transfer reactions from alcohols to organic carbocations and (ii) biomimetic chemistry studies of the alcoholic oxidations by NAD+ coenzyme mediated by alcohol dehydrogenases.
