To celebrate the new Student Success Center addition to the Morris University Center, the SIUE Student Arts Competition is accepting submissions. The SIUE Students Arts Competition is in its 3rd year, and is a five-year, annual event.
Students artists can submit a maximum of three original works for consideration. All works should be gallery or professionally ready for installation. 2-D work should be wired for hanging; Plexiglas should be used instead of glass if framed. Work should be submitted to the Art Office between 9:00am and 5:00pm on Friday, February 12, 2010.
Works should not weigh more than 150 lbs and be no larger than 4 x 8 feet.
The competition reserves the right to photograph, videotape and reproduce any submitted work for documentary, publicity and fundraising purposes.
