Master of Fine Arts - Art StudioThe Master of Fine Arts degree at SIUE is a terminal studio degree designed to further the individual development of degree candidates and to provide them with professional competency in the creative arts of ceramics, drawing, metalsmithing, painting, photography/digital arts, printmaking, sculpture and textile arts. The MFA program at SIUE is internationally known for its excellent faculty, breadth and depth of programs, outstanding facilities, and the quality and success of its graduates. Students wishing to apply to the MFA program in studio art should follow the procedures for applying to SIUE's graduate school, listed in the Graduate Catalog. The purpose of the CGA program is to support highly qualified new students, including students from underrepresented groups, who are accepted into advanced degree programs at SIUE.
