Master of Fine Arts - Art Studio
The Master of Fine Arts degree at SIUE is a terminal studio degree designed to further the individual development of degree candidates and to provide them with professional competency in the creative arts of ceramics, drawing, metalsmithing, painting, photography/digital arts, printmaking, sculpture and textile arts.

Students wishing to apply to the MFA program in studio art should follow the procedures for applying to SIUE's graduate school, listed in the Graduate Catalog. In addition, students must follow the Art and Design Department's MFA application procedures, as listed in the Graduate Catalog:

January 14: Deadline for the Competitive Graduate Award (CGA) applications. The purpose of the CGA program is to support highly qualified new students, including students from underrepresented groups, who are accepted into advanced degree programs at SIUE. Funding is $930 per month plus tuition waivers for 19 awards
