| Steve Brown has been with the faculty of the Department of Art and Design at SIUE since 2000 and serves as head of the Photography/Digital Arts Area. He received his BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art and his MFA from the University of Delaware. His vision of the Photo/Digital Area is one that offers students a variety of photography based media in which to express themselves as developing artists. As an artist, Steve employs both traditional and digital still and time-based media in his work. His work is exhibited nationally and internationally and focuses primarily on the relationship of imagery and experience. |
