Dr. Lark received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, emphasis in Art Therapy from Lindenwood University, and her doctorate in Applied Psychology and Art Therapy from Union Institute and University. Dr. Lark's clinical practice focuses on women, with a specialization in early trauma recovery, attachment issues, acculturation and gender issues, and the development of a meaningful life. Dr. Lark has presented and published on the use of art and action methods in social dialogue and group work, in addition to clinical uses of art therapy in trauma and creativity. She serves on the American Art Therapy Association Educational Program Approval Board and is a Fellow of the Community Arts Institute, St. Louis.
