 | STAT Nearly Naked Mile - November 11, 2011 STAT hosted the 2nd Annual Nearly Naked Mile on November 11. Participants ran a one-mile fun run starting at 12pm on the Quad. The event collected warm clothing donations for the Glen Ed Pantry. |
 | SIUE ROAR Bonfire - November 9, 2011 STAT, Student Affairs and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics hosted the SIUE ROAR T-Shirt Swap on the Quad. Students exchanged shirts from other schools for a new SIUE spirit t-shirt. They also enjoyed free food and live music. The SIUE men’s and women’s basketball players and coaches were on site to greet attendees and help pass out t-shirts. STAT led a serpentine through the residence halls to bring students to the event. |
 | STAT Mentor and Buddy Mixer - October 17, 2011 STAT hosted its first mixer event for Alumni Mentor Program and the Buddy Program. The group played “SIUE Bingo” and other board games on Monday, October 17 in the MUC. |

The featured alumni speaker was SJ Morrison, 2002 BA, who spoke on the importance of working with a mentor.  | SIUE Speednetworking - March 29, 2011 STAT, the SIUE Alumni Association and the Office of Continuing Education hosted the 3rd Annual SIUE Speednetworking event on March 29, 2011. Similar to speed dating, the event offered current SIUE students the chance to network with alumni volunteers from various career fields. Speednetworking is designed to help students practice introducing themselves and learn how to network in a business setting. |

 | STAT School Spirit Contest - January 26, 2011 STAT hosted a School Spirit Contest on Wednesday, January 26th during the SIUE Alumni Night with the Cougars when the SIUE women's and men's basketball teams played Murray State. Students competed for prizes in three contests - most guests, best dressed fan and loudest fan. Alumni watched the game from the AlumniZone seating section and voted for the spirit contest winners. STAT also hosted a pre-game pizza party for student and alumni participants of the STAT Alumni Mentor Program. |

The event included live music from three area bands - Aaron Kamm and the One Drops, Sheila Shahpari and Mr. Wizard. Attendees enjoyed free activities, food booths and the AlumniZone Hospitality Tent. STAT sponsored the mechanical bull ride. |
