Alumni
The SIUE Alumni Association, along with the Deans of the College and Schools of SIUE, honored the inaugural class of the SIUE Alumni Hall of Fame on Friday, October 10th at Crystal Garden Banquet Center. The evening included a cocktail reception, dinner and awards presentation. The honorees were presented with a commemorative cougar print and had the opportunity to speak after their introductions. Commemorative plaques of the honorees will be displayed outside of their respective College or School. The members of the inaugural class are: Ralph Korte and Timothy Keenan (School of Business); Scott Alspach, Patricia Mercurio, Mark Showers and Col. John Flournoy, Jr. (CAS); Dr. Valerie Murrah (SIU Dental School); Maureen Black and Dr. Frances Karanovich (School of Education); Paul Galeski and Richard Oller (School of Engineering); Crystal Lask and Nancy Weston (School of Nursing).
