Stahlschmidt Family Scholarship

Scholarship Information

In honor of their parents, Dorothy and Raymond, the Stahlschmidt family established the Stahlschmidt Family Scholarship in Fall 2009. Eight of the ten Stahlschmidt children graduated from SIUE and are thankful for their parents’ support of their education. The Stahlschmidt Family Scholarship will award two $1,500 scholarships to incoming SIUE students.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be an incoming freshman OR a transfer student (undergraduate or graduate);
• and be enrolled full-time at the SIUE.

Applicants will be judged on financial need, GPA, ACT/SAT scores, community service, after-school activities and essay questions.

Scholarships are one-time awards and will be paid directly to the SIUE Bursar for tuition. For additional information, please call the SIUE Alumni Association office at 618-650-2760.

Application Process

Applications for the 2014-2015 Stahlschmidt Family Scholarship must be postmarked by Thursday, February 27, 2014.  Applications can be mailed to:
