SIUE Alumni Association Board of Directors Scholarship

Scholarship Information

The SIUE Alumni Association Board of Directors Scholarship is made possible through the generosity of alumni who serve on the board. The Alumni Association’s Board of Directors awards this $1,000 scholarship to one incoming freshman, current undergraduate, college transfer or non-traditional SIUE student each year.

The SIUE Alumni Association, as the voice of SIUE alumni, will foster the advancement of SIUE alumni and will strive to support SIUE, its students and the community.

Eligibility

Applicants must be current undergraduate students, transfer students, non-traditional students OR incoming freshmen at SIUE.

Applicants are judged not by need but by their proven leadership skills and campus and community involvement. Past recipients are permitted to re-apply for scholarship renewal. Scholarships are one-time awards and go directly to the SIUE Bursar for payment of tuition.

Submitting Your Application

By Mail:

• Applications for the 2013-2014 SIUE Alumni Association Board of Directors Scholarship must be postmarked by Thurs., February 28, 2013.  Applications can be mailed to:

• Applications for the 2013-2014 SIUE Alumni Association Board of Directors Scholarship via fax must be received by 5pm on Thursday, February 28, 2013.  Fax: (618) 650-3694.

All applicants will receive confirmation of the receipt of their application via e-mail within a week of submission. For additional information or for any questions you may have concerning the scholarship, please call the SIUE Alumni Association office at (618) 650-2760.
