SIUE offers the opportunity for freshmen to be directly admitted into some of our most competitive programs on campus. A limited number of freshman applicants will be considered for direct entry into the Schools of Business; Education, Health and Human Behavior (including speech-language pathology); Engineering; and Nursing; as well as conditional entry into the School of Pharmacy.
Admission to these programs is competitive, and most students will enter these academic programs through the traditional process.
To be considered for SIUE direct entry, prospective freshmen must submit a completed undergraduate admission application.
A supplemental profile may be required (refer to the table for specific information). In general, applicants with ACT ≥ 27 (1280 CR+M SAT) will be considered for these programs.
For program-specific application requirements, select your program of interest from the menu at the left.
