SIUE offers the opportunity for freshmen to be directly admitted into some of our most competitive programs on campus. A limited number of freshman applicants will be considered for direct entry into the Schools of Business; Education, Health and Human Behavior; Engineering; and Nursing; as well as conditional entry into the School of Pharmacy.
Admission to these programs is competitive, and most students will enter these academic programs through the traditional process.
To be considered for SIUE direct entry, prospective freshmen must submit a completed undergraduate admission application by December 1, 2014. A supplemental profile also should be submitted by this date to enable consideration for direct entry options in the Schools of Business, Nursing, and Pharmacy.
In general, applicants with ACT ≥ 27 (1210 SAT) are considered for these programs. Students wanting to be considered for direct entry into the School of Engineering need not submit the supplemental profile for admission, but are encouraged to submit it for Meridian Scholarship consideration.
