Incoming freshmen who enter SIUE directly from high school may be considered for the conditional entry program (CEP). This early-assurance program allows selected students to earn direct admission to the SIUE School of Pharmacy. Candidates should indicate pre-pharmacy on their application for admission. A limited number of candidates may be invited to interview.
Benefits: Selected students gain automatic acceptance into the doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) program after successful completion of two years of prerequisite course work. Students are required to register a PCAT score and complete all application requirements for the School prior to enrollment in the PharmD program. Provided the student meets all CEP conditions, the PCAT score does not affect the offer of acceptance. Pre-pharmacy course advisement is conducted by School of Pharmacy academic advisors.
