Qualified incoming freshmen have the opportunity to be admitted directly into the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior. Majors include: early childhood education, elementary education, exercise science, health education, psychology, special education, and speech-language pathology and audiology. Teacher licensure is available in early childhood education, elementary education, secondary education and special education. For direct entry consideration, interested students should select one of these areas as their intended major on their application for admission.
Benefits: Selected students receive advisement through the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior, have earlier opportunities to participate in academic clubs and honor societies, and meet and interact with other students and faculty in their major.
