| Check Your SIUE Email Account (https://connect.siue.edu) - Your SIUE email is especially important because financial aid, payment information and updates will be sent to it. | |
| Check CougarNet (siue.edu.cougarnet) - CougarNet is the secure way to manage your personal, academic and financial aid information. Also, use CougarNet to check details regarding any college level credit you would be transferring to SIUE. Approximately 15 working days after (if not sooner), you can check CougarNet to review your transfer credit. For more details about this process contact the Transfer Center (siue.edu/transfer). | |

Determine if you need to take Placement Tests. The University offers a variety of placement tests in the areas of Intermediate Algebra, College Level Reading, Writing and Chemistry Readiness.

eTRACS is the online orientation for all transfer students. It is a simple and brief course that gives you the full details in order to register and enroll at SIUE. eTRACS is broken into modules; if you are entering as a transfer student, you are expected to complete the introductory module and module 1 before scheduling your first academic advising appointment.
Register for TRANSFERmation! TRANSFERmation will allow you and other SIUE transfer students to learn more about SIUE and, we hope, ease any concerns you have about your transition to our campus. It is designed to address your unique needs in attending SIUE and introduce you to our programs, services and activities.
Faculty, staff and current students will be available throughout the program to ensure that you leave campus feeling even more comfortable in your choice to attend SIUE.
