Activate your e-ID - Your e-ID is most important in assisting you as you enroll at SIUE. You will need to request a password at siue.edu/eid.
Check Your SIUE Email Account (https://connect.siue.edu) - Your SIUE email is especially important because financial aid, payment information and updates will be sent to it.
Check CougarNet (siue.edu.cougarnet) - CougarNet is the secure way to manage your personal, academic and financial aid information. Also, use CougarNet to check details regarding any college level credit you would be transferring to SIUE. Approximately 15 working days after (if not sooner), you can check CougarNet to review your transfer credit. For more details about this process contact the Transfer Center (siue.edu/transfer).

Apply for Financial Aid (siue.edu/financialaid) - We advise you to do this as soon as possible. You can also check out the scholarships available to incoming fall freshman on the Financial Aid webpage.
Apply for University Housing (siue.edu/housing/apply) - Please refer below for more information on applying for University Housing.
Complete and Submit the Health Immunization Form (siue.edu/healthservice/immunization/index) - The health immunization form must be completed by the first day of attendance.
Eligible students are readmitted into the class and major (if available) under which they left. If you have indicated a different proposed major on your application for readmission, you have been readmitted as an undeclared major.
You will have the opportunity to discuss the requirements for declaring your major during an academic advising appointment. Undeclared majors should contact the Office of Academic Advising (siue.edu/advising) at (618) 650-3701 to schedule an appointment. Declared majors should contact the department for advisement. If you have college credit from regionally accredited institutions other than SIUE, your must submit official transcripts from the granting institution to:
Please note any college credits obtained while attending high school must be reported on an official transcript from the college or university at which the credit was earned. Intentional nondisclosure of transfer credit may result in dismissal form the Univeristy.
If you are pursuing a second bachelor's degree. your general education requirements are considered complete and individual courses will not be evaluated. Your major advisor will help you determine the appropriateness of your transfer credit toward SIUE requirements.
