Cerra earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies from Eastern Illinois University in 2008, and a master of education in higher education administration degree in 2011. She has served in several different functional areas in higher education, and prides herself as a transformative educator.
Cerra enjoys serving underrepresented students as well as promoting wholistic student development as an advisor and mentor. She is a member of the National Association of Student Affairs Professionals and the Minorities in Communication Association.
Cerra enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
