Welcome to WSIE-FM radio! WSIE serves as the Jazz Station for the St. Louis area, located at 88.7FM. As a public service of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, WSIE offers dedicated professional program hosts who love jazz and enthusiastic student broadcasters. About Us 

WSIE-FM is a non-commercial public radio station serving St. Louis and Southwest Illinois, offering an all-jazz format. An affiliate of National Public Radio, Illinois Public Radio, and Metro News and Traffic among other affiliations, WSIE-FM also provides complete and accurate news, sports, and weather information through daily newscasts and updates. WSIE-FM is a 50,000-watt station (88.7FM), owned and operated by the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University. Located in Edwardsville, Illinois, WSIE-FM operates from studios in Dunham Hall on the campus of Southern Illinois University.

Our goal at WSIE-FM is to provide student employees with accurate and effective educational resources and training, furthering the educational process offered by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, while providing excellent jazz programming and news coverage for the St. Louis listening area.

Donations 

The Jazz Station WSIE-FM is currently in the process of acquiring new equipment. As you might imagine this equipment is very expensive and we need to raise an amount near $150,000 to replace the old control room equipment. Also new fiber optic cable between the control room and the transmitter is need. The station is also exploring the option of having WSIE streaming Online. Finally, much needed work is needed on the broadcast tower antenna. Please help support WSIE with a one-time donation. There is no minimum contribution and any donation towards our new equipment fund will be greatly appreciated.
