The University has a contract with Enterprise Rent-A-Car to handle situations when all of the University vehicles are reserved for a particular date or when it may be more cost effective.
Reserving
Reserving an Enterprise vehicle for State or University business is the same as reserving a University vehicle. Call Transportation Services at (618) 650 - 3100 or fill out a Reservation form located on the Forms page.
Picking-up
Enterprise vehicles are available for pick up at the local branch at 4251 S State Route 159, Glen Carbon from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and on Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Enterprise is closed on Sunday. If unable to pick-up the vehicle between those times, please call Transportation Services at (618) 650 - 3100 for possible alternatives.
Returning
Enterprise no longer has a drop box. Vehicles must be returned during their normal business hours. If a vehicle is scheduled back after hours, Enterprise will not charge an additional day as long as the vehicle is back by 8:00 a.m. the next morning. If that is absolutely impossible, please call Transportation Services at (618) 650 - 3100 to see about working out a possible solution.

Additional Information
Rates do not include fuel or a $10 handling fee. Employees who are traveling for State or University business may pick up a Wright Express Credit Card from Transportation Services for fuel purchases. The usage will be matched with the Enterprise bill and billed back to the department.
When a vehicle is rented for pick-up or drop-off on Saturday, there is an automatic two day charge for both Saturday and Sunday.
Enterprise offers additional types of vehicles. While they are not on the original contract, the University receives discounted prices. For rates for any other type of vehicle, please call Transportation at (618) 650 - 3100 and we will obtain the price for you.
For Personal Use
Enterprise has been kind enough to offer discounted rates the same as or close to what the University receives to all students and employees of the University. To receive the discounted rates you must give Enterprise the Corporate ID # 01A1814. When making a reservation for personal use, you may call the Glen Carbon office at (618) 288 - 8812 or the Enterprise Corporate Hotline at (877) 881 - 5500.
