Data Forms, Sorting, Subtotals & Conditional Formatting
(2.0 hours)
Learn to use a data form to add, edit and delete records; sort records top to bottom, left to right, by four or more columns and create custom sort orders; create automatic subtotals with one or more summary functions; and use conditional formatting. Prerequisite: Knowledge of Excel 2003 or equivalent experience.

In this session you will record, execute, and edit macros; create menus and buttons to run frequently used macros; create your own templates; and work with and customize existing templates. Prerequisite: Knowledge of Excel 2003 or equivalent experience.

Pivot Tables & Filters

(2.0 hours)
Learn to display, summarize and autoformat your database information in different ways using Pivot Tables; filter (query) your database to display the records that meet specified criteria. Prerequisite: Knowledge of Excel 2003 or equivalent experience.

Sharing Workbook Data

(2.0 hours)
Topics covered in this session include: Importing and exporting data in to Excel; creating links to other workbooks; and creating a shared workbook for multiple users and tracking changes. Prerequisite: Knowledge of Excel 2003 or equivalent experience.

Shortcuts & Tips

(2.0 hours)
This session covers using the right mouse button to add and delete rows and columns; cut, copy and paste; insert comments and format cells. Learn how to freeze columns and rows; add a new view; tile views and worksheets; copy and rename worksheets; add custom headers and footers; and use the Autofill feature. Prerequisite: Knowledge of Excel 2003 or equivalent experience.

Change Tracking & Comments for Multiple Reviewers
(2.0 hours)
This session covers tracking document changes and adding comments; incorporating changes suggested in comments; and in and comparing to copies of a document in an multiple reviewer environment. Prerequisite: Word 2003 or equivalent experience.

Form Letters, Mail Merge & Mailing Labels
(2.0 hours)
This session covers creating a data source and main document then merging them to create a form letter; and creating mailing labels and using alternate data sources (Excel spreadsheet). Prerequisite: Word 2003 or equivalent experience.

Styles, Outlines, Headers & Footers
(2.0 hours)
In this session you will learn to apply, define, modify and delete Styles; create, format and edit documents in Outline view; create Headers and Footers, First Page Headers and Footers, Alternating Headers and Footers; Page Numbering. Prerequisite: Word 2003 or equivalent experience.

Tables, Columns & Section Breaks

Learn to create, use and format tables; use tables for calculations; insert Section Breaks; format sections as multiple columns; edit, enter and edit text in columns; format columns. Prerequisite: Word 2003 or equivalent experience.
Windows Tune-up
(1.5 hours)
Learn to manage files and folders using Windows Explorer.  Create Shortcuts to favorite programs.  Copy and move files and folders.  Back up and restore files to your zip drive. Prerequisite: Windows 2003 or Equivalent experience.

(1.5 hours)
The class designed for novice user. The session covers basic PC components, mouse manipulation, and Window management skills.  Prerequisite: None
