A volunteer is still needed to assist Dr. Shabestary in preparing for Probst lecture this March.  Dawn Powell or Will Kuester will be contacted.

Our annual holiday party will be held Friday, December 8, 2006, at Dr. Eiler’s home.

Upcoming events include Science Olympiad on Saturday, February 17, 2007, and Regional Science Fair on March 16-17, 2007.  Volunteers will be needed for both events in order to help set-up and judge categories.  This year’s science fair will be formatted differently.  First-round judging for high school will be held on Friday evening while first-round judging for elementary and second-round judging for high school will be held on Saturday morning.  There may also be an opportunity for CVS to present a hands-on demonstration Saturday.  Both activities will count toward SLDP credit.

We need to spend at least half of our supply funding from Kimmel before the end of this semester.  Suggested items for purchase included a printer, pencils, note cards, colored ink pens, and a hole puncher.

Volunteers are needed to organize the leftover books from our book and bake sale.
