The following includes some of the activities, projects, and services we plan to offer to members during the 2009-20010 school year: We also will be fundraising to support the Club and help finance some of these trips so that members don’t have to pay as much out of pocket. |

Due to the excitement stirred up during last year’s behind-the-scenes tour at the St Louis Zoo, we’ve decided to try to schedule another trip. Let us know if there’s an area of the zoo that you’d like to see the club tour (ie. Birds, primates, etc) |
|
We’re planning to schedule tours at Monsanto, the Genome Sequencing Center, and at Anheuser-Busch. Let us know if you know of any other places you’d like to visit or tour. |

We’re looking for ideas for fun activities to do as a group and are currently thinking about a baseball (Cardinals or Grizzlies) game or a trip to City Museum in St Louis. For more info on these activities, visit: http://www.stlcardinals.com http://www.gatewaygrizzlies.com http://www.citymuseum.org |

We will look into many areas for volunteer activities and will continue to work with the Gardens at SIUE to gain those ever-so-precious community service hours that look good on applications and resumes. |

Geared towards those interested in the medical areas of biology, this exhibit starts in October and features real human bodies that have been preserved through a process known as Plastination.
