To be eligible for membership in GTU, the applicant must meet the following requirements: - Completed at least three semesters of college geography courses. - Have a ‘B’ average in geography. - Rank in the upper 35% of your class - at SIUE we judge that to be an overall GPA of 2.8 or higher. The costs of membership if $45.00. This includes a one time payment of $40.00 to the international office and the annual $5.00 chapter dues. For the $40.00 application fee to the international chapter, you will receive a certificate and a GTU key lapel pin. Applications are accepted twice a year, once during the fall and spring semesters. To remain active in the Gamma Lambda chapter, the $5.00 annual dues must be paid annually. After graduation, you may choose to join the alumni chapter of GTU, Omega Omega.
