At the beginning of each school year, a week of formal recruitment occurs where a girl can meet all the sororities and get to know the Greek system. Delta Phi Epsilon participates in fall recruitment. For more information on the recruitment process, please contact John Davenport, Coordinator of Greek Life. Delta Phi Epsilon is looking for new members who are committed to serving their community, experienced leaders, and willing to be apart of a sisterhood of young women.

After a potential new member attends three or more events she may be extended a bid into Delta Phi Epsilon. Feel free to contact a member of Delta Phi Epsilon for information or email Kacie Bendtsen, Vice President of Recruitment, or contact our Leadership Team at dphiegammaalpha@yahoo.com.

After a girl is extended a bid and she accepts, she will begin a six-week new member period. A new member has weekly meetings, usually after a Chapter meeting, to be educated about Delta Phi Epsilon and Greek Life at SIUE. Each week has a different topic to cover:

Week 2: Self

Week 3: Scholarship

Week 4: Sisterhood

Week 5: Social

Week 6: Service
