Purpose Statement of LSS SPIN

The Learning and Study Skills SPIN group is an interest group of the National Association for Developmental Education (NADE). The professional goals of members in the LSS SPIN group include:

• promoting research on the correlates of participation in learning or study skills,
• promoting self-regulated learning and analytical problem solving strategies which improve learning effectiveness of students, and
• promoting effective administration, development and evaluation of Learning and Study Skill assessment tools.

To join you must be a NADE member. Membership information can be obtained through the NADE web page. We welcome your contributions to the Learning and Study Skills Spin group.
