See the B.A. Typical Program page for a 4-year curriculum guide.  Students should consult their advisers regularly to work out and update their programs of study, and must have an adviser approve their Course Request Forms in order to register each term.

General Education Requirements 44
    The general education curriculum requires 44 hours of general education credit.  For the bachelor of arts degree, 8 hours of foreign languages are required.  Also note that students seeking teacher certification must take specific general education requirements. See the Secondary Education section of the catalog for details.
Physics Requirements 33
PHYS 211ab, 212ab, 302, 312, and 497 or 498;
9 hours selected from PHYS 308, 318, 320, 405ab, 410, 415ab;
6 additional hours selected from Physics courses numbered 300 or higher.
Chemistry Requirements 10
CHEM 121ab, 125ab.
Mathematics Requirements 14
MATH 150, 152, 250.
Electives and/or Minor 23
The following electives are suggested for students planning to enter medical school: CHEM 241ab, 245; BIOL 120, 121
