HIRING UNIT:    DEPARTMENT OF CONSTRUCTION
TITLE/RANK:     Assistant Professor of Construction

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:     Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in construction, advising students, engaging in research and public service, and assisting in the development and advancement of the Construction Management program.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT:    Academic appointment beginning August 16, 2008.

SOURCE OF FUNDS:     State

SALARY RANGE:     Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:      Ph.D. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or closely related field.  Highly qualified candidates with a Master's degree may be appointed as a full-time instructor while pursuing the Ph.D.  U.S. experience managing construction preferred.
