| HIRING UNIT: UNIVERSITY SERVICES TO EAST ST. LOUIS SIUE EAST ST. LOUIS CHARTER SCHOOL TITLE/RANK: Faculty Associate (Teacher), Fine Arts (As Needed) DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Provides instruction in the fine arts (visual, performing arts and theatre). Must be knowledgeable in art appreciation, music appreciation, and theatre. Will teach high school classes as determined by administration/supervisor and provide workshops and other related activities for students. Course load will be determined by management as required. Available for periodic after school and weekend activities. TERMS OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time which may lead to full-time, from date of appointment through May 31, 2009. SOURCE OF FUNDS: Local SALARY RANGE: Negotiable QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree required. Must have, or be eligible for, State of Illinois Type 09 teaching certificate in at least one of the following areas; or have or be eligible for State of Illinois Type 09 or Type 10 teaching certificate with a secondary endorsement in: dance or drama/theatre arts or music.
